Gunpla Love - MG Shining Gundam Hyper Mode Part 1

The Sun shines so bright, Good weather, Listening  to Jazz music + Coffee = Relaxed, Ahhh Life is so Good

Today i'm gonna share my Gunpla project which i entitled "Shining Gundam Hyper Mode" it's 25% percent done and there's a lot things to do, so i hope i finish this project early so i can show you how AWESOME this project is. So sit back and relax and do enjoy reading ^-^

My MG Shining Gundam from the G-Gundam series

I disassembled the armor parts and organized them by color for painting

"as you can see, i tried panel lining the armor part with gundam marker but it's too thick so i decided to panel line it using enamel wash technique"

Painting Part! the FUN part!

for the yellow armor parts i'll be using this spray paint, Bosny Metallic Gold

"I primed it with Bosny Prime Grey"
"Yellow parts done priming. waiting to dry"

Done painting!!

This is what it looks like after painting it with Bosny Metallic Gold

"missed painting some parts. gonna paint it again :("

Panel wash time! or Enamel wash ^-^

for Enamel wash. i'll be using this, it is Tamiya Enamel Dark Sea Grey Color and of course an Enamel Thinner

Done panel washing some armor parts.

Comparison with and without panel washed

"Left: Panel washed, Right: without Panel washed, as you can see the linings are thinner than using Gundam Marker"

Special Effects Part! Chroming!

In this part. i'll be Chroming some armor parts. specifically the boosters on the armor.

The spray i'll be using is this:
"Bosny: Chrome"

to chrome the booster part of the armor, first is to mask them with a masking tape, here is an example

"Make sure you cover the parts you don't want to be painted with chrome"

After painting the boosters with Bosny: Chrome

"it looks like real chrome!! it's so shiny and it sparkles like edward cullen when put into sunlight HAHAHA"

That's it! i still have a lot of work to do to finish this project. I'll finish this as soon as possible, so i can share it you guys. Have a nice day! ^-^

See you!
